With all the excitement brewing up for the season, Chelsea have been given a massive blow with some players being quarantined upon return from their holidays.

As per reports from Daily Mail, some of the blues players have tested positive for Covid 19 and others have been quarantined in response to being near the affected ones.

Mason Mount, Fikiya Tomori, Christian Pulisic, and Tammy Abraham are all understood to be in self-isolation. Many other players like Jorginho, Ross Barkley, Michy Batshuayi and Emerson are also reported to be staying away from Chelsea’s training at Cobham.

With only 15 days left for the season to commence, this could be a major problem for Frank Lampard and his team.

Chelsea have been amazing in the transfer market and it is only leading to more and more optimism for the start of the season but this news might just deflate a lot of it.

Pre-season training at Cobham has already commenced and with so little time, some big decisions lie for Frank Lampard and also the Premier League Authorities.
