Former Chelsea full-back Tariq Lamptey has been the talk of the town in Brighton lately following impressive performances since the start of the season.

Legendary Chelsea full-back Ashley Cole has joined the discussion and described him as a better dribble than Liverpool duo Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson.

“He has [surprised me],” Cole told Sky Sports, as quoted by HITC.

“If you go back to Robertson and Trent. I would say the dribbler, I think he’s the best with the ball at his feet and maybe his end product isn’t up to par yet.

“He’s so effective. He drives with the ball. He’s quick and so far this season he’s done very well.”

Lamptey made his first-team debut for Chelsea in a 2-1 win against Arsenal in the Premier League in December 2019 and joined Brighton in the same month.
