Atletico Madrid have reportedly agreed a deal with Croatian side, Lokomotiva for their goalkeeper, Ivo Grbic, according to Spain-based journalist Pedro Fullana.

According to Fullana, 24-year-old Croatian international goalkeeper will arrive in Madrid in the next few hours to undergo a medical examination and become Atlético de Madrid’s first signing for next season.

Chelsea have been linked with a move for Atletico Madrid’s number one goalkeeper, Jan Oblak. Even though it’s not yet clear, Grbic could still be Oblak’s replacement.

Oblak refused to rule out a move to Chelsea when confronted with the question a few weeks ago by AS.

“This is not the time for that, now it’s Leipzig,” the Slovenia international told AS.

“I’ll look back at the season when the last game is over, and, hopefully, we’ll have three more [games to play].

“Then there will be time to talk. But first, Leipzig. I’m really looking forward to it.”

Oblak has established himself as arguably the best goalkeeper in European football since joining Atletico Madrid from Benfica in 2014.
