Chelsea have reportedly placed midfielder Jorginho on their transfer list this summer.
The Italian international has long been linked with a move away from Stamford Bridge, with Chelsea hoping to bring in West Ham’s Declan Rice in his position.
It first became apparent that Jorginho was out of Frank Lampard’s favour after the restart of the Premier League in June when he was left out of the starting eleven on numerous occasions.
Even when N’golo Kante was out with an injury, Billy Gilmour was given the nod ahead of Jorginho, leading to further questions about his future.
According to the reliable @ExWHUemployee on Twitter, the Blues are looking for potential buyers and have received interest in the player from abroad. Roma were previously said to have enquired about Jorginho but there have not been any serious approaches as of yet.

With just over a week left in the transfer window, Chelsea’s attempts to bring in Declan Rice are set to intensify in the coming days.
No official bid has been submitted yet, but there has reportedly been contact between the club and Rice’s agent.
Chelsea have not made any official bid yet for Declan Rice. Talks on with his agent – but now it’s time to sell/loan out players, then #CFC will open talks on next days with West Ham. #WHUFC insist they won’t sell Rice but the player is pushing to join Chelsea. 🔵 #transfers https://t.co/DuMqm5j9bV

Although the player is said to be keen on the move and excited by the prospect of linking up with manager Frank Lampard, it appears unlikely that he would hand in a formal transfer request to West Ham.
The Hammers are insistent that they don’t need to sell their prized asset, but club co-owner David Sullivan recently admitted that they have “limited funds” and Chelsea will surely be confident that a substantial bid would be enough to tempt them into giving in.
