Chelsea have reportedly opened talks with Serie A powerhouse AC Milan for the transfer of France international midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko to San Siro.
The 25-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Monaco is clearly not in the plans of Chelsea manager Frank Lampard for next season.
The midfielder spent 2018/19 season on loan at AC Milan and the Rossoneri have indicated interest in taking him back for the coming season.
However, according to Evening Standard, the Serie A side are reportedly offering a loan deal with an option for a permanent deal next summer but Chelsea want to sell Bakayoko now.
The blues paid Monaco £40million for Bakayoko in 2017 but he failed to impress in his first season in the Premier League and was sent out on loan to AC Milan the following year.
