Chelsea are currently in the market for a goalkeeper after manager Frank Lampard made it clear he would like to replace current number one Kepa Arrizabalaga.
Kepa is having a difficult season and has been dropped for few key matches this season. A situation Lampard wants to correct ahead of next season.
The blues are currently interested in Atlético Madrid’s shot stopper Jan Oblak with Ajax star Andre Onana as a fall-back option.
However, according to Spainish publication Cadena Ser, Barcelona goalkeeper Ter Stegen, who is currently in a middle of a contract dispute with his bosses at Barcelona has offers on the table from Chelsea and Bayern Munich, and could consider it if the situation doesn’t improve.
Chelsea would be hoping to sell Kepa but a loan is a more realistic option at the moment. La Liga sides Valencia and Sevilla have shown interest in taking him on loan but a lot depends on how many percentage of his wages Chelsea are willing to pay.
Kepa joined Chelsea from Atletico Bilbao in 2018 for £71m.
