Real Madrid’s left-back Sergio Reguilón who is currently enjoying a fruitful loan spell at Sevilla has revealed he doesn’t know where he will play next season.

The 23-year-old has been linked with a move to Chelsea as Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has made it clear that Mendy and Marcelo are ahead of him in the pecking order.

The Spaniard told Muchodeporte he has no idea where he will play next season: “I don’t even know where I’m going to play next season,” he said.

“I have no idea, I have to assess all the options that we have on the table.”

Reguilón is likely to make a decision on his future after the Europa league final against Inter Milan which he is looking forward to.

“To be in the final you have to do a lot of things right and few things wrong,” he continued.

“Inter is a hard-working team, it’s going to be a very tough final. But Roma came after eight games without losing and we beat them you can’t judge things by just one game.

“There will be a lot of pace and focussing with specific players is a mistake, although Lautaro [Martinez] and [Romelu] Lukaku are very good.

“The mood of the squad is euphoria. The feeling is wonderful and it’s a shame not to have been able to enjoy the fans in this final phase of the competition or against Real Betis. The ambition of the club and the players is to bring the cup home.”
