Juventus and Inter are leading the race to sign Chelsea left-back Emerson Palmieri according to Italian daily newspaper Corriere della Sera via Sempre Inter.

The Brazilian born Italy International has fallen down to third choice in the pecking order at Stamford following the big-money arrival of Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.

Chelsea manager Frank Lampard has shown little desire to give Emerson game time on the pitch this season with Alonso who is probably going to be second choice behind Chilwell favoured over him.

It’s believed Emerson has made up his mind to leave Stamford Bridge this summer, with a return to Italy his preferred choice.

Inter Milan are reportedly still keen on the player with their manager Antonio Conte willing to reunite with the player he brought to Chelsea from AS Roma.

The 26-year-old joined Chelsea in the January transfer window of the 2017/18 season and is still under contract with until the end of the 2021/22 season.
