Emerson Palmieri’s agent Fernando Garcia has shut down rumours that he’s negotiating a possible sale of Chelsea left-back Emerson to Juventus in the summer.
The Brazilian-born Italy international has been linked with a move away from Chelsea after falling out of favour at Stamford Bridge.
However, his agent Fernando Garcia has played down any talks of a summer move.
“Emerson is very happy at Chelsea, he gets along well with his teammates and coach,” he told TuttoJuve.com.
“As of today, I have not had any contact with other clubs. It’s true that Juventus were interested when he was still playing for Roma, but that was the season before he moved to Chelsea.
“As I said, he’s very happy at Chelsea and already in one of the biggest leagues in the world. Only God can say whether Emerson will return to play in Italy or not.”
Emerson also told Brazilian publication, Globo a few weeks ago that he’s happy at Chelsea.
“In the middle of the year when you open the transfer window, these rumours always happen,” he said.
“Difficult to happen now, because I’m very happy here, this is not the right time. During this time that we were not training, Lampard was a guy who cared a lot about us.
“Every week he had a meeting with the whole team, via the internet. He is a very open guy, always asking what we want, how we are feeling, and has always been by our side. That makes all the difference in the team’s union.”
Emerson joined Chelsea from Roma in January 2018, on a four-and-half-year deal worth €20 million, plus €9 million in bonuses.
