Chelsea are hopeful of getting positive feedback from PSG captain Thiago Silva to complete his move to Stamford Bridge next week.
The 35-year-old who will play his last match for PSG tonight is expected to make a decision on his future next week with Chelsea leading the race, according to various reports.
Sky Italia transfer specialist, Fabrizio Romano told CBS Sports that Thiago is likely to say ‘yes’ to Chelsea and the deal will be completed next week.
“It’s possible Thiago Silva is going to Chelsea, there is a strong possibility,” he told CBS Sports.
“He’s ready to leave and he’s in talks with Chelsea for a 2-year contract. He also has a bid from Serie A side, Fiorentina but Silva is convinced he wants to try the Premier League, he has never played there”
“So, Chelsea are in talks with him and they are convinced that they will have final answer from Thiago Silva to sign after signing Ben Chilwell from Leicester City.
“Thiago will say his goodbye to PSG tonight”
