According to reports in the media, Havertz will join up with Chelsea after his international duty.
Both Chelsea and Bayer Leverkusen were sure that he would be an unused substitute during their match against Spain to avoid any injuries. Another blue, Timo Werner scored the only goal for Germany handing them a 1-1 draw courtesy of a late goal from Spain.
According to respected journalist David Ornstein, Havertz will be announced as a new Chelsea player within 24 hours.
Confirmation of Kai Havertz transfer from Bayer Leverkusen to Chelsea expected in next 24 hours. Fee just above 70m + add-ons. Medical not done yet. #B04 & #CFC expected he would be an unused sub in Germany v Spain last night to avoid risk of injury & that happened @TheAthleticUK https://t.co/RX1TqcpLsZ

According to Ornstein, the fee is just above €70m+ add-ons and he says Havertz has not completed his medicals.
There are conflicting reports from other sources saying the fee is €80+20m in add-ons and that Havertz has already completed his medical.
At the end, the important thing is that Chelsea fans will get a Havertz announcement soon and Kai will join his fellow Chelsea team-mates after the international duty.
