Chelsea have reportedly made a breakthrough in negotiations with Bayer Leverkusen for the transfer of Kai Havertz this summer.
According to very reliable German outlet, SportBild, the blues will pay Leverkusen transfer fee of €80m plus extra €20m in bonuses.
The report stated that the transfer is expected to be completed and announced in the coming days.
Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano added that the German club will accept Chelsea’s bid of €80m plus €20 in bonuses, and agreement is set to be reached in the next few hours.

While the bonuses have taken the fee to €100m, the most important thing is that both clubs are about to finally reach an agreement which is fair to Chelsea and will allow the 21-year-old Germany international to move to Stamford Bridge.
