Crystal Palace manager Roy Hodgson has credited Chelsea for Crytal Palace’s poor performance at Stamford Bridge today.

After a dull goalless first half, Chelsea ran away with a well-deserved victory with four second-half goals.

Hodgson admitted after game that Chelsea stopped them from playing the football they wanted to play.

“I didn’t think our attacking play was very good,” he said.

“I don’t think we showed composure on the ball or quality on the ball that we wanted to do. It was a bad day for us in that respect anyway.

“But we must give Chelsea some credit in that respect, of course, because they did extremely well and made it difficult to get that passing and movement that we wanted.”

The victory took Chelsea to 4th place in the league.
