Vitória Guimarães have completed the signing of Chelsea academy star Jacob Maddox, on a 4-year deal for undisclosed fee, according to Portuguese publication Record.
The 21-year-old former England U-19 International began his career at Bristol City before moving to Chelsea as a 14-year-old.
In 2018, he was sent to Cheltenham Town on loan and he made his professional debut on the first day of the 2018–19 season, starting the game against Crawley Town.
On 8 August 2019, Maddox joined Tranmere Rovers on a season loan deal, followed by another loan to Southampton in 2020.
Victoria Guimarães who finished 7th in the Premeira Liga last season have already signed Suliman and Marcus Edwards before adding the exciting Chelsea academy attacking midfielder to the fold.
The Guimarães-based outfit will be hoping to get into Europa League spot next season with the help of the new arrivals.
