Chelsea midfielder Jorginho says he has no problem with sitting some games out when asked during his pre-match interview.

“I don’t feel pressure. It’s good for the team. It’s what’s best because the competition is higher, everyone wants to play.”

The Italian midfielder has completed 90 minutes on four occasions this season, two coming in the Champions League against Rennes. Asked about the quality of the current squad and their chances of winning a trophy this season,” he says.

“I’ve played with so many talented players and this side boost some amazing players. We’re working really hard everyday and I’m working really hard and whenever the manager wants me I am ready.”

He also spoke of the what the team has worked on coming into this top of the table fixture he says, “we’ve worked on our tactical aspect a lot because we know how organized Sevilla is.”

On the team, he says “they’re growing and now know each other better but still have to work harder and keep improving”.

Jorginho and Giroud could be set to feature on Wednesday when Chelsea face Sevilla in the Champions League. Though both teams have already qualified for the last 16, the game could determine who goes through as Group E winners.

Asked about Giroud he said, “he’s such an amazing player. The way he works, he brings so much to the team on and off the pitch. The whole team was so happy when he came on and scored the winner last week”.

Chelsea will return to Premier League action on Saturday when we face Leeds United at Stamford Bridge.
