Despite criticising Chelsea’s transfer business, Liverpool manager has acknowledged the blues have done a fantastic business with their summer buys.

Klopp’s Liverpool will face Chelsea in a Premier League game on Sunday and the former Dortmund manager knows clearly what he’s up against.

“Chelsea have bought really well,” he said in an interview with Sky Sports.

“But they already had a really good team. They had an unbelievable team last season. We had to suffer a lot against them, even in the home game where we won 5-3, we had difficult moments to survive.

“Pulisic wasn’t involved against Brighton, maybe a little setback but I guess he’s probably fit for the next game (against Liverpool).

” Mason Mount, Kai Havertz, I know him well from Germany. There are many good players up front, the midfield, the defensive line, the full-backs, there is no biggest threat, Chelsea are a threat. That’s how it’s in a football game.”

Chelsea played well in four games against Liverpool last season and with new additions to the squad, Sunday could be a very good outing for the blues.
