Leeds United are willing to abandon their pursuit of Udinese star Rodrigo De Paul and switch focus to Chelsea’s Ross Barkley.

According to Football Insider, Leeds United are getting frustrated with their inability to agree a deal with Udinese for the playmaker.

The Marcelo Bielsa’s led side are expected to switch interest to more possible options with Chelsea star Ross Barkley reportedly the main target.

Chelsea are willing to send either Ruben Loftus-Cheek or Ross Barkley out on loan before the end of the transfer window on October 5.

Loftus-Cheek, who is attracting huge interest from Premier League clubs is more likely of the two to leave on loan but Barkley’s move to another club is not completely ruled out, especially if Chelsea succeed in their bid to sign West Ham United’s star, Declan Rice.

Barkley capped his first start of the season with a goal in Chelsea’s EFL Cup victory over Barnsley on Wednesday night.
