Recently, Chelsea have been linked with a possible summer move for Brighton and Hove Albion captain, Lewis Dunk.
Earlier reports suggested that the blues are hoping to pull off a double defender deal for Brighton’s Lewis Dunk and Man City’s John Stones.
However, a transfer insider, Alex Crook believes the 28-year-old is set to stay at the Amex and Chelsea are yet to make a bid for the defender.
“I’ve spoken to people very close to the player and spoken to my sources at Brighton,” Crook told TalkSport.
“They haven’t received a bid from Chelsea, and they wouldn’t welcome one.
“Lewis Dunk is happy on the south coast and I’m told he’s 95 per cent certain to stay a Seagulls player.”
With Ziyech and Werner already in the bag, and Havertz closing in, Chelsea manager Frank Lampard is hoping to add a centre-back, left-back and a goalkeeper before the end of the transfer window.
