PSG are back in the race to sign Chelsea midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko this summer.

The former Monaco star has been in talks over a possible return to AC Milan where he spent a year on loan in 2018.

According to Foot Mercato, AC Milan are yet to reach a total agreement with Bakayoko and Chelsea, making it possible for PSG to get back into the race for his signature.

The report stated that PSG’s sporting director Leonardo has contacted Bakayoko’s entourage to indicate interest in bringing him back to France.

The France International has not hidden his love for the Ligue 1 champions.

“Yes, for sure, one day I would like to play in Paris,” Bakayoko told L’Equipe last year.

“I cannot lie about it. It’s big for me and my loved ones. We are real Parisians.”

The 25-year-old midfielder joined Chelsea from Monaco in 2017 on a five-year contract for a fee around the margin of £40 million.
