Antonio Rudiger is getting closer to a move away from Chelsea after falling down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge.

The Germany international centre-back is currently attracting interest from Roma, Barcelona and PSG.

These clubs have reportedly offered Chelsea a loan move with an option to buy but Chelsea prefer a permanent transfer or loan with an obligation to buy him next summer.

With just two years left on his existing Chelsea contract and difficulty in selling him due to the current financial state of most European clubs, Chelsea could accept a loan deal with an option to buy.

However, according to The Telegraph, the blues intend to extend his contract before loaning him out as part of the club’s standard policy to protect the values of players leaving on loan.

The 27-year-old is expected to be missing from the Chelsea squad for the third successive game this weekend, when the Blues travel to West Bromwich Albion.
