Chelsea midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek is close to joining Fulham on a season-long loan deal, according to multiple sources.

The 24-year-old midfielder is said to have signed for Fulham. The player has passed medicals, agreed to all terms with announcement expected to follow soon.

Loftus-Cheek has made only one Premier League appearance this season which has led Chelsea manager Frank Lampard to agree a loan deal for the former Chelsea Academy star.

There was also interest from Aston Villa, West Ham, Crystal Palace, Southampton and other Premier League clubs…

Fulham won the race for his signature as Southampton and West Ham struggled to meet his £150,000-a-week wages.

The England international who made 25 appearances at Crystal Palace on loan in 2017/18, has made 82 appearances for Chelsea FC.
