Chelsea star Antonio Rüdiger has been left out of all Chelsea games this season. Having not received a start in any of the games, fans are wondering what actually has happened between Rüdiger and Lampard.
According to TeamTalk, Rüdiger has been left ‘sad’ and ‘shocked’ after Lampard’s decision to blank him from the starting lineup for any of Chelsea’s previous games of the season.
Lampard has however insisted the decision to snub the German international will not necessarily mean a club exit for him.
According to various reports coming from other sources state PSG are interested in an initial loan deal for the 27-year-old. Chelsea, however, are adamant they won’t send him on loan but want to sell him if possible.
If a sale is not possible only then will Chelsea look to extend Rüdiger’s contract and send him out on a loan to a Premier League club or PSG as that is Chelsea’s modus operandi.
Barcelona have also shown interest in the player as a “low cost” option at CB but they are pre-occupied with the Eric Garcia deal and will only look to bring in Rüdiger if the Eric Garcia deal doesn’t go through.
There is no certainty at least now as to where Rüdiger will end up. Right now, Chelsea are assessing their options and will only look for a move away if Thiago Silva fits in well with the squad.
