Chelsea centre-back Thiago Silva has revealed the difference between three of the top leagues in Europe (Italian Serie A, French Ligue 1 and English Premier League).

The 36-year-old, who played for AC Milan, PSG and now Chelsea is clearly qualified enough to explain the difference between the three leagues.

“I had a big apprenticeship in Italy. In my opinion, this is one of the best schools for defenders,” he said during Brazil national team’s Press Conference.

“Then there is the French championship, which is a little more physical and a little stronger. Even if PSG has a strong domination over its opponents, we played in a more exposed way because we had to take risks.

“As for the English league, after the two matches that I played, it gives me a headache. It’s aerial play at all times, a very high pace of play.”

Silva Chelsea to five consecutive clean sheets before the Blues 4-1 against Sheffield United last weekend.
