Bayern Leverkusen managing director, Rudi Voller has showered praises on Bayer Leverkusen star and Chelsea target, Kai Havertz.
The German legend said the 20-year-old star reminds him of Chelsea legend, Michael Ballack and Arsenal star Mesut Ozil while going ahead to proclaim him ‘the best player Bayer Leverkusen’s history.’
“For me, he’s the best I’ve seen at Leverkusen, and I’ve been here for a lifetime,” Voller told La Gazzetta dello Sport.
“We had Emerson, [Michael] Ballack, Ze Roberto, [Toni] Kroos, but he’s on top. He takes the best bits from both of them”

That’s not a huge surprise as Voller was actually repeating what he said ahead of Die Werkself’s DFB Cup final against Bayern Munich five weeks ago.
Ahead of the match, Bayern Munich manager, Hansi Flick added: “Havertz brings the ball through the smallest gaps,” he said.
“He’s a fantastic footballer, I’ve known him since he represented Germany’s U17s and even then he already showed what he can do.”
Havertz is definitely a fantastic talent and would be a very important signing for Chelsea if the transfer goes through as expected, after Bayer Leverkusen’s Europa League campaign.
