Bayer Leverkusen sporting director Rudi Voller has once again reaffirmed that Bayer Leverkusen have not made any decision regarding the transfer of Kai Havertz.

Chelsea are rumoured to be close to completing an €80m transfer for the Germany international even though the Bundesliga club want €100m.

However, Voller remains adamant Havertz can only leave if certain requirements are met.

“No decision has been made yet,” Voller told German publication Kicker as quoted by Metro.

“I’d like to repeat myself by emphasising that we’re talking about a wonderful footballer. There is nothing new in this regard.

“We have a clear and mutual agreement with him and his representatives that he can only leave if certain requirements are met. Otherwise, he will stay.”

Chelsea have already completed the signing of Hakim Ziyech from Ajax and Timo Werner from RB Leipzig but the blues manager, Frank Lampard is hoping to secure Kai Havertz before the team resume training in less than two weeks time.
